Retired from John Lewis in 2003, having previously been in the Army for thirteen years. Since then was Secretary of the Revitalisation Group for three years, has been Chairman of the Village Society from March 2005 until March this year and was involved with the campaign to save the Library. He hopes to help develop the Council so that it becomes an effective force for the good of the Village.

Married, with two children and five grandchildren. Has been a member of the Village Society committee for several years, four of them as Secretary. He has been Chairman of the Revitalisation Group, which is responsible for Village Day, hanging baskets, Christmas lights etc., since it started five years ago. Has created and maintains the Little Chalfont Village Society web site. He is also secretary of Amersham Bowls Club and convenor of one of the Chiltern U3A computer groups.

Prior to that during his business career he held senior executive positions in both the financial services and IT industries. For a number of years he has been a Committee member of The Little Chalfont Village Society. In that role he has been heavily involved in transport issues with regards to Chiltern Railways and the Metropolitan Line, voicing concerns that services may deteriorate because of these organisations' wider priorities.
He firmly believes that a Parish Council solely focusing on the needs of Little Chalfont can do much to ensure that we can create the very special atmosphere and community spirit which can make parish life so rewarding.

She played an important role in collecting names to present to Bucks County Council in order to keep the village library from closing without proper consultation. She has been involved, for many years, with the Little Chalfont Village Society, has represented Little Chalfont as a Councillor on Amersham Town Council for the last four years and was a strong advocate for the creation of our Parish Council.

He retired from the Diplomatic Service in 2002 after serving as British Ambassador in two countries of Central Asia. He now works as a consultant at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office three days a week. Chris and his wife Jackie have three children. They have kept a house in Little Chalfont for thirty years, living here while on London postings and keeping up interests and friendships in the local community.

Following three years working and living in Eastern Europe, Don and his family moved to Little Chalfont in 1995. Since then Don has been active working with local residents and a number of local groups on detailed planning matters.
