Has been a member of the Village Society committee for several years, four of them as Secretary. He has been Chairman of the Revitalisation Group, which is responsible for Village Day, hanging baskets, Christmas lights etc., since it started five years ago. Has created and maintains the Little Chalfont Village Society web site. He is also chairman of Amersham Bowls Club.
Michael Dear (Vice Chairman Planning Committee)

Michael moved into the village a couple of years ago with his wife and has a young family. He was co-opted into the parish council in 2010. He is concerned about the number of houses proposed by Chiltern District Council for the village, and is fully supporting installation of new play equipment for children in Westwood park.

He wants to maintain the village atmosphere and thinks any expansion of Little Chalfont should only be made within the existing infra-structure. He was involved in the original discussions with Bucks County Council over the setting-up of the community library.
After a 40 year career in television he has recently stopped working and feels he can now devote more time to local issues.

She was appointed as liaison with the Friends of Little Chalfont Library committee in July 2009. She is a member of the Westwood Park Working Party and fully supports the installation of the new playground planned for Westwood Park. She is concerned about the impact the new housing development in Bell Lane will have on the village and is keen to see no further large development in the village. She has lived in Little Chalfont for over 20 years and has family ties with the village.

Michael is a recently retired consulting actuary who has lived in the village since 1977. He is married with three sons, two of whom are also village residents. He was co-opted to the parish council in 2011. Having retired from his professional life, he wants to help Little Chalfont retain its village atmosphere but has concerns about the impact on the village of anti-social parking, speeding and the congestion from increased housing development. He is strongly critical of the plans that seek to justify the current HS2 proposal.

E-Mail: To Be ConfirmedVinny Patel lives and works in Little Chalfont, running the local newsagents in Elizabeth Avenue. He has been a member of the Parish Council since November 2010. He is the past Chairman of the Neighbourhood Action Group (covering Little Chalfont, Amersham and Chenies) and was involved in the original discussions with Thames Valley Police, Chiltern District Council, the Parish Council, Little Chalfont Community Association and several individuals in setting up the Youth Club to help the young people in the village.

I have lived in Little Chalfont since 1999 and prior to that I lived in Amersham from 1977. I have a nine year old son who attends Bell Lane School where I am a Governor. I worked at what is now GE HEALTHCARE from 1974 until 2008 when I left to take early retirement. I was a member of Amersham Town Council from 1995 until 2007. I am a Member of St. Michael's Church Amersham on the Hill and I also attend, with my family, Little Chalfont Methodist Church. My main hobby is Cycling.
