Council's Responsibilities

The Parish Council's responsibilities are the following:
  • Managing the Parish budget, currently around £200,000.
  • Managing and maintaining the assets of the Parish.
  • Managing the bookings for the Village Hall and the Westwood Park facilities.
  • Reviewing all local planning applications and making recommendations to the District.
  • Ensuring the general appearance and standards within the Parish are maintained.
  • Assisting local residents in dealing with Government bodies including, District, County and Highways Department.
